The information day for prospective students includes:

• Information about the programs of study School Music, Elementary Music Education, Orchestral Music, Voice and Opera, Church Music, Jazz and Popular Music
• Information about the requirements for the aptitude tests
• Virtual tour and insight into various courses
• Discussion with the academic advisory office

The next university open house at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität will take place on June 9, 2027. The Mainz School of Music will also be hosting selected events on this day to get to know each other, get a taste of the courses, and ask questions.
